Custom without Custom Programming

SouthWare can be configured to run on over 600 different operating environments. With 30 modules from which to choose, the installation can be adjusted to include the functions necessary to automate many different types of businesses.

In addition to being able to customize the installation by the appropriate selection of modules, there are many other ways an installation can be customized:

  • Customization through table settings and selection in the standard products.
  • Extensive configuration settings through tables relate to log-in operator preferences, hardware configuration, color, and style preferences, printers, dialers, cash drawer, etc.
  • Add VIEWS of the system to include summaries of key information contained throughout the system.
  • Additional MODULES that are designed to provide extra flexibility:

  • ReportMate™ - Easy to Use Report Writer - Add additional reports to the system. Re-design standard reports for special needs.
  • Extended Data™ - Add Extra Fields and Searches
  • Forms Adapter™ - report Writer for Forms - customize invoices, checks, statements, picking tickets and many other business forms to contain optional notes and different information from standard form output.
  • ExecuMate II™ - Real Time Financials, Financial Ratios, Triggers to identify performance outside control parameters. Drill down into details from summaries. Drill into histories.
  • ExcelReport™ - Goal Setting and Total Quality Management - statistics, events, and grades happen as a by-product of other activities.
  • Work Flow™ - Newest addition to SouthWare system. This module allows extensive changes to be done to the standard product by intercepting the normal flow of information and operation to allow defaults to change at data entry at any field, additional branches, computation, messaging, additional items on "to-do lists," or call external programs (objects). All this is done as a part of the program operating environment, not in the programs themselves! Work Flow is the end of being Revision Locked by custom code!
