Timesavers was chosen by the General Electric Company in 1994 to be the suggested
software provider for GE Appliance dealers and released Premiere Plus followed by
Showcase 2000. GE has partnered again with Timesavers to update the system to what
is now GE Showcase. GE Showcase has pre-built features specific to the Appliance
Industry, NARDA, KPI, and Service Bench.
GE Showcase is designed to improve the appliance dealers' financial condition
through utilization of a fully integrated business management software system that
provides up-to the minute financial information about the company. The system is
designed to give the dealer increased access to more information, thus giving the
dealer more information to make better decisions.
The Graphical Dispatch Board shows each technician, the number of calls assigned,
the service order numbers, and the priority assigned to each service order as well
as all unassigned service orders. An optional preview pane at the bottom of the
screen shows more detail of any highlighted service order.
A pop-up menu allows you to quickly re-assign a
service order to any other technician. Next Day/Previous Day buttons allow you to easily
review calls for surrounding days and the Multi-Day grid displays technician totals of
scheduled hours for a 30-day time period. See an
