SouthWare is a Business Management System (BMS) capable of operating businesses from $5 million to $200 million in annual sales.   It is especially well suited to distribution and service related industries.

Even though it offers a rich selection of over 300 standard reports, it has many features that make it easier to learn and easier to use than the other high-end systems with which it compares.  It is completely modular but still thoroughly integrated.  It runs on a broad base of operating environments and platforms.  . . .    

SwiftMate™ provides the operating environment and is required. It provides for several choices of Menus, a user-modifiable, context-sensitive help system, flexible and friendly security system, breakouts, mail, schedules, objects, filters, and macros.

We consider Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Flow Ledger, Inventory Control, and (Automated) Purchasing to be basic requirements.

Tools we Need

  • ReportMate™ - Easy to Use Report Writer - Add additional reports to the system. Re-design standard reports for special needs.
  • ImportMate II™ - Import data from external tables. Enables bulk changes and updates to files.
  • Extended Data™ - Add Extra Fields and Searches
  • Work Flow™ - This module allows extensive changes to be done to the standard product by intercepting the normal flow of information and operation to allow defaults to change at data entry at any field, additional branches, computation, messaging, additional items on "to-do lists," or call external programs (objects). All this is done as a part of the program operating environment, not in the programs themselves! Work Flow is the end of being revision locked by custom code!
  • Forms Adapter™ - report Writer for Forms - customize invoices, checks, statements, picking tickets and many other business forms to contain optional notes and different information from standard form output.
